New Album - 'Easy Come, Easy Go'

"Easy Come, Easy Go", The new album from Marianne Faithfull
Naive confirms the album release for November 2008
 
"Easy come Easy go" was produced by Hal Wilner and recorded in NYC at the Sear Sound studio with Marianne Faithfull's new band: Barry Reynolds, Greg Cohen, Marc Ribot, Jim White and Rob Burger. It includes covers of standards (Billie Holliday "Solitude", Bessie Smith "Easy come Easy go", Dolly Parton "Down from Dover"  and other more recent titles: Espers "Children of Stone", Black Rebel Motorcycle Club "Salvation", The Decemberists "The Crane Wife").
 
The album will released in two formats: a 10 songs standard version and a deluxe edition containing 8 bonus tracks and a DVD documentary by Anne Rohart under Jean-Baptiste Mondino's artistic direction showing Marianne Faithfull and Hal Wilner's comments on the songs selected for the album. A two disc vinyl edition will also be issued.
 
"Easy come easy go" contains many prestigious collaborations with Chan Marshall,  Nick  Cave , Keith Richards,  Antony Hegarty , Rufus Wainwright, Jarvis Cocker, Sean Lennon and Teddy Thompson
 
The album cover is by Jean-Baptiste Mondino.

I'm reading your autobiography and you're a very mysterious woman. I'm so curious for your new album but I think it's not out in Belgium for the moment. I wish you all the succes with it and I hope so that you come back to Antwerp because I missed your performance in 2007. Kisses!!! Ethel

I'd like you come to Uruguay or Argentina someday. Althoug your voice has changed so much i still like the way you sing as much as the first day i saw you in the rock and roll circus. I'm only 20 and i've followed your career since i "knew" you 3 years ago.
